Our new Copper Anodized Collection, featuring Antique Copper is here!
What makes this new collection AMAZING?
Beautiful shades of new and antique copper.
Our Antique Copper color resists fading, will never patina and performs within AMA 611 Class I specifications.
Anodized copper products weigh approximately 60% less than real copper and painted steel products – giving you more pieces per pound and reduced inventory and freight costs.
100% recyclable and a smart, environmentally responsible material decision.
Exciting News!
Lorin ClearMatt 0.250 and 0.425 mil film products PASS Energy Star Initial Program Requirements for Roofing Products.
What Does This Mean?
Roofing materials are testing for three performance numbers:
Total Solar Reflectance
Total percent of solar energy reflected outward.
Low-Sloop Roofs = Initial Total Solar Reflection of >= 0.65. (Lorin material measured 0.77)
Steep-Sloop Roofs = Initial Total Solar Reflection of >= 0.25. (Lorin material measured 0.75)
Thermal Emittance
Ability of the roofing material to release absorbed heat.
Standard still under development by the EPA / Energy Star program.
Solar Reflectance Index
Ability of the roof to reject solar heat. Higher numbers = Cool Roofing material potential.
Standard still under development by the EPA / Energy Star program.
Bottom line: Lorin anodized aluminum can help provide increased solar reflectance as well as improved thermal emittance for roofing materials as well as other building materials, thereby providing a more energy efficient structure!
