My grandfather, Herb Kersman, founded the Kersman Equipment & Plating Company in 1943 supporting local companies with cadmium and zinc-plated material for the war effort. Following the war, my grandfather saw a growing demand for anodized aluminum, prompting him to change business direction and build our first production anodizing line in 1948. As market opportunities were identified, Lorin Industries expanded our product ranges as well as our services and capabilities to better serve our customers.

My father, Buzz Kersman, began running the company in the early 1980's with similar principles and ideals defined by my grandfather. With continued success providing quality products and services to the marketplace, the organization continued to grow internationally supporting 7 anodizing lines and a highly automated coil service center with slitting and shearing capabilities.

I believe strongly that a combination of innovation, capabilities and customer focus is what sets Lorin Industries apart from our competition.
