A Letter to Our Valued Customers About COVID-19

Dear Valued Customers,

The COVID-19 virus is presenting challenges to everyone. During these difficult and unprecedented times, we salute those who are on the front lines trying to keep us safe. We also want to acknowledge the industries and companies that are considered essential and appreciate their commitment to stay operational. A number of these essential industries have indicated that Lorin is an essential supplier for their ongoing production. We are proud to serve these essential industries, including, but not limited to food service and air filtration.

At the same time, we keep a focus on protecting our employees, while we continue to serve the needs of our customers who need us most at this time. We have set up every salaried person to be able to work from home. Our plant operations have been reduced to ensure that we can handle production that is vital, but not full-scale for our ongoing 24-hour, 5-day per week operation. We are following the CDC guidelines with continuous cleaning and social distancing throughout our organization, aided greatly by the automation built into our production processes. We have implemented frequent and documented sanitizing measures throughout our facilities for all surfaces, as well as frequent handwashing guidelines.

With staff working remotely and with production scaled back to ensure we meet social distancing guidelines while still serving the needs of our essential customers, we greatly appreciate your patience with us, as we may not be able to respond as promptly to your needs as we would prefer. We will continue to operate under these conditions until federal, state and health officials direct us otherwise.
