Lorin Highlights Anodized Aluminum for Ceiling Applications

Lorin Industries highlights its anodized aluminum for ceiling applications. Lorin’s ClearMatt® and Metal finishes are ideal for interior and exterior ceiling tiles.

Lorin’s coil anodizing process builds an anodic layer from the aluminum, bonding it to the surface at the molecular level, thus protecting the aluminum from the elements, even when the ceiling panels are used for the exterior. The anodized aluminum will not chip, flake, peel, or corrode and also resists scratching. All of these benefits make the material ideal for ceiling applications.

Lorin ClearMatt® can be found on the ceilings of a multitude of iconic buildings including on the interior vestibule ceiling of the US Olympic Paralympic Museum in Colorado Springs, CO and on both the interior and exterior ceiling panels of the Owensboro Convention Center in Owensboro, KY. ClearMatt® is also available in perforated patterns which can be used on ceiling tiles. This can be seen in the perforated aluminum composite panels on the interior Beijing Wanke Times Center ceiling.

Lorin’s Medium Bronze anodized aluminum finish has been used for the interior ceiling tiles of Hyundai dealerships in China and Korea. Lorin’s extended anodized aluminum metals collection includes a series of Copper, Gold, Zinc, and Bronze anodized aluminum finishes that combine the color and reflection of natural metals with the increased strength to weight ratio of anodized aluminum.
